The Summer 2025 Legal Internship at adMarketplace offers law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal department, focusing on commercial transactions, advertising, labor and employment, privacy, international law and compliance matters. It is the perfect role for a law student hoping to work with tech companies as a law firm associate or as an in-house counsel later in their careers.
As a Legal Intern at adMarketplace, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting with legal research, template drafting, and vendor contract review.
What you'll do:

• Conduct legal research on a variety of topics including international, privacy and employment law and prepare memorandums and other written analysis
• Draft and update legal templates, including NDAs, partnership agreements, and other standard contracts.
• Assisting adMarketplace's legal team with contract review and other legal matters
• Setting up legal operations processes that help the company move frictionlessly

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L student at an accredited law school
• Strong interest or experience in privacy law, international law, or employment law preferred
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Pluses are prior experience in advertising, technology, or as a paralegal

*This internship will be onsite in New York City in adMarketplace's offices.

Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
