EUROPEAN DYNAMICS (ED) currently has a vacancy for a Legal Counsel, to offer his/her services in the company’s premises in Marousi, Athens.
Tasks
- Draft, review, and negotiate day-to-day contracts: employment agreements, freelance contracts, confidentiality agreements terms and conditions, non-compete agreements, NDAs, DPAs;
- Legal support in public procurement procedures;
- Drafting, negotiation and performance of public procurement contracts ;Draft and/or review legal letters;
- Draft BoD and GA minutes;
- Issuance of legal documents (i.e. certifications, criminal records, etc.);
- Assistance to operational teams in the day-to-day management of projects;
- Undertake legal research into complicated areas and deliver user-friendly advice to internal stakeholders;
- Identify and anticipate legislative and regulatory changes and recommend appropriate action conducting risk assessments;
- Support the implementation of GDPR requirements and provide assistance in the management of relevant requests;
- Review of employees’ handbooks, codes of conduct and other internal policies.
- University Degree in Law – Member of a Bar Association in Greece;
- 4-6 years of experience as in-house counsel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English; good knowledge of German would be an advantage;
- Substantial MS office knowledge;
- Knowledge of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 would be an advantage;
- DPO certification or attendance of seminars on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or relevant experience would be an advantage;
- LLM or experience in one or a combination of EU law, public procurement law, labour law, and contract law will be considered an asset;
- Professional integrity, efficiency, organizational and creative spirit, multitasking, communication and negotiation skills, fast learner with flexible attitude and able to work in a fast-paced international business environment, team oriented personality.
