Lauth Investigations International, Inc. is looking for a Legal Assistant. Will assist with supporting current Claims Department with our existing day-to-day duties, claim correspondence, and claim status.
Interested candidates are in or near Denver, Boulder, Westminster, Longmont and Aurora, as this requires to work out of the Boulder Office.
This position requires 40 hrs per week .
Requirements
Eligible applicants must emphasize in Political Science, Law, or Business. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Google platform; and a dedicated, energetic work ethic are required for the position.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant with at least 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our Lost Assets Team located in Boulder, CO. This is not a remote position and requires daily reporting so to ensure the efficient operation of our legal processing lost assets department.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of investigative research and gather relevant information
- Maintain and organize case files and databases
- Schedule hearings for probate, claimant meetings with paralegals
- E-file and mail claimants confidential documents
- Handling of paperwork
- File management
- Scan, save, upload/ mail claim packets to be sent to the State and Court
- Light genealogy research to assist with the claim analyst
- Ordering Vital Records, Probate Records, Deed Records, from various county clerks offices
- Phone inquiries/Email inquiries to state agencies or court clerks regarding claim status or estate status
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
