The purpose of this role is to offer proactive company secretarial support to QBE's operations in the Region, alongside providing paralegal assistance to lawyers across the region.
Your New Role :
- Assist in coordinating the execution of the annual calendar for the Board and its Subcommittees.
- Work with existing electronic filing systems; familiarity with Litify / iManage is beneficial.
- Manage requests for corporate information and facilitate timely regulatory filings, liaising with external parties as necessary.
- Provide professional and accurate support to the Legal and Company Secretariat team.
- Prepare and produce documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations efficiently.
- Maintain effective relationships with both internal colleagues and external representatives.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of board meetings, including the distribution of agendas and supporting materials.
- Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and assist with maintaining company records.
- Support the drafting and review of legal documents and agreements under the supervision of attorneys.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to all confidentiality standards.
About You:
- Prior experience as a Paralegal and/or experience in supporting on company secretarial matters.
- Experience assisting a Company Secretary and Legal Counsel will be highly regarded.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
