The Learning Technology Specialist is responsible for managing the effective operation and optimization of key learning systems, including Litmos (LMS), Pluralsight, and Oak Engage. This role focuses on integrating and enhancing these platforms to support organizational learning, providing user support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that content is up-to-date and strategically aligned with business objectives. The Learning Technology Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and leverage data to inform continuous improvement in learning delivery and system use.

What you’ll do:

Tool Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of Litmos, Pluralsight, and Oak Engage, ensuring systems run smoothly and are used effectively.

  • Handle system integrations and optimize the user experience across platforms.

  • Provide user support and training for employees to ensure successful adoption and usage.

Integration and Optimization

  • Lead efforts to integrate new features and tools into existing systems to improve functionality and user engagement.

  • Continuously assess and implement system optimizations to align with learning objectives and business needs.

Content Management and Strategic Planning

  • Conduct regular audits of learning content within the platforms to ensure it is current, relevant, and accessible.

  • Collaborate with your peers on the Talent team to align content updates with strategic goals and long-term learning initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Generate reports on system usage, user engagement, and learning outcomes.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for improving the learning experience and system performance.

Problem Resolution and User Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues related to the learning systems.

  • Troubleshoot problems and work with vendors to ensure timely resolution.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing learning management systems (LMS), with specific experience in Litmos, Pluralsight, or similar platforms.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage system integrations and troubleshoot issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing user support and training.

  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting, with the ability to use insights for system improvement.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Experience in content management, including auditing, organizing, and aligning learning materials with business goals.

  • Knowledge of learning technology trends and ability to strategically implement new tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a cross-functional team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 2-4+ years of experience managing learning technology platforms or similar systems.

  • Demonstrated experience with system optimization, user support, and learning content management.

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $67,300 - $78,700 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
