The Role
As a Learning Technologist within the Digital Learning Delivery (DLD) team within Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS), you will run and maintain the learning platform that supports our external clients using the Wealthscape(SM) platform. Your responsibilities include publishing tasks, participation in strategic improvements to our learning platform, collaboration with instructional designers and facilitators to establish system policies and procedures, and tech-centered development projects that drive our strategy to increase participation in our learning programs in a measurable and effective way.
The Team
The DLD team handles day-to-day management of our learning management system (LMS), including publishing, design, programming, and support. In this role, you will support and consult on subsystems (e.g., virtual meeting applications) and other delivery platforms (e.g., content management system). You will maintain learning content and curricula through a publishing and quality assurance process. As a member of a client service team, you will also have opportunities to lead or participate in consultative, client-facing meetings.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- BA/BS with 5+ years of learning technology or relevant experience
- A solid understanding of learning technologies, including learning management systems (LMS)
- Experience using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and/or SQL preferred
- Experience with reporting and analytics a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client facing communication experience via email, chat, or virtual meeting
- Ability to manage tasks, issues, and solutions independently
- Experience building productive, measurable, and personalized learning experiences for clients to perform at their best
- A curious, proactive, and collaborative approach to bringing new insights into how technology addresses business problems
The Value You Deliver
- Produce support materials on system technology and processes as the need arises
- Discover, plan, and implement new LMS features and functions and identify corresponding metrics
- Monitor and advance LMS issues that are received from clients and users
- Work with technology and product support to improve support workflow and limit tech support issues through education of our support partners
- Troubleshoot issues and submit tickets to vendor as needed
- Provide advice on strategic plans for system use and expansion
- Develop and implement program requirements for large client onboarding events
- Conduct case analyses and readiness assessments for onboarding clients
- Develop product adoption, audience segmentation, and program development strategies with colleagues and business partners
- Engage technology vendors/internal resources to deliver cost-efficient solutions to business requirements
- Enable senior management decision making on issues such as budget, risk associated with developing and maintaining solutions, and earning return on investment
- Develop and promote learning delivery strategies that conform to overall team learning strategy
- Keep up to date with advances in LMS and online learning related learning technologies
