Modivcare is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist I to join our team! This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective mentoring and training programs that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance. They works closely with senior Learning & Development Specialists, Learning & Development Managers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and the Instructional Design Team to develop and implement learning solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives. - Designs and develops engaging, learner-centric curricula utilizing adult learning principles and best practices, including diverse learning materials like presentations, interactive eLearning modules, job aids, and practical exercises.
- Maintains and organizes training resources to ensure they are current, accessible, and effectively managed in a centralized repository.
- Facilitates engaging and practical training sessions through various modalities (in-person, virtual, blended), adapting to diverse learning styles and ensuring active participation.
- Demonstrates strong facilitation skills by managing group dynamics, fostering a positive learning environment, and addressing participant questions effectively.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives by proactively seeking feedback and staying updated on industry trends.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with senior L&D managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Aligns training initiatives with organizational strategy to contribute to business objectives.
- Travel as required to support training initiatives at various locations.
- Provides comprehensive guidance and mentorship to trainees, offering constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.
- Fosters a positive and productive learning environment by monitoring attendance, punctuality, and behavior.
- Monitors and guides classroom or remote learning dynamics to encourage engagement.
- Reviews and approves employee timesheets and manages administrative responsibilities.
- Conducts formal discussions with trainees to evaluate progress and address concerns.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, preferably in a corporate setting
- Or a combination of education and/or experience.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training delivery techniques.
- Proven ability to design and develop engaging and effective training programs and materials, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and blended learning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, SMEs, and L&D team members.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement.
Salary: $46,000 - $62,100
