Your Role

In your daily job you will:

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into lean process improvement initiatives
• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to internal teams to ensure lean implementation
• Customize production systems and workflows to optimize quality, cost, and delivery
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as process flowcharts, standard work, and training materials
• Stay current on lean manufacturing trends and best practices within the automotive industry
• Lead Kaizen activities, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement workshops
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with customer satisfaction goals
• Track and report on lean performance metrics and recommend adjustments as needed

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement in an automotive environment
• Strong knowledge of lean tools (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, etc.) and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools; CAD or simulation software is a plus
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change on the shop floor
