Lead Technical Support Engineer ensures Baker Hughes delivers flawless execution by providing Technical support to the Service Delivery organization and Sales organization when needed in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
- Subject Matter Expert for his/her area of support
- Support the field technically through different media (online, phone calls, and technical papers)
- 24/7 Support for critical Operations in the field when needed
- Share the knowledge across the organization by submitting the best practices, case histories and lessons learned to the knowledge management database
- Follow up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field
- Raise alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar issue arises on a job
- Coaching the wellsite field population
- Communicate to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies

To be successful in this role you will:
- Highly initiative, self-driven, strong analytical and conceptual skills, flexibility.
- Thorough understanding of P/L technology and Service Delivery requirements.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience. - Significant operational experience. - End-to-end knowledge of drilling and completion process is an advantage,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and mentor small technical teams
- Availability on call outside of normal business hours.
- Good communication skills. Ability to work & fluent communicate in English
- Ability to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysis.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
