Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to work on Cadence’s Virtuoso Schematic and Layout product. The engineer will have the opportunity to develop cutting edge software solution to address customer’s needs to build their most advanced integrated circuits.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging start-of-the-art software programs
- Improve stability, debug capabilities of the software
- Work independently and efficiently
- Engage with customers as needed and help in creative solutions
- Continuously scale solutions (runtime, memory, number of CPUs etc.) to take care of next-generation larger designs
Requirement
- BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Candidate must have experience of complex software development using C/C++
- Strong background in software Algorithms and Data structures
- Familiarity with Qt (Quick Time), SKILL language and EDA flows in general will be a plus
- 3+ years of experience working on delivery of EDA applications is preferable.
- Must possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English
- Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management
- Work effectively across functions and geographies
- Push to raise the bar while always operating with integrity
