About the role:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a passionate Lead Full Stack Developer to join our globally distributed Vendor Experience & Catalog Technology team.The role will work closely with our designers and engineers to build a compelling product and implement exciting new features - all with the goal of delivering a great experience for our vendors.
What You Will do:

  • Own a product team of 3-5 engineers.
  • Participate in quarterly goal setting and roadmap alignments.
  • Ensure project delivery and quarterly goals are met with quality.
  • Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures such as databases, large scale data processing pipelines and APIs.
  • Be the owner of technical architecture and design of applications under your portfolio.
  • Ensure coding and security standards are met within the team.
  • Create test automation for unit, functional and integration tests.
  • Recommend ways to improve reliability, maintenance, efficiency and quality of the products.
  • Follow SCRUM Agile Development methodology.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, peers and others.
  • Lead and coach team effectively and maintain a healthy working environment.


What You Will Need:

  • A mindset of ‘getting the job done’.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices.
  • Must have full stack experience using C#, Angular/React, Relational Database and SQL.
  • Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka, Amazon SNS, RabbitMQ etc.
  • Ability and willingness to work with onsite and offshore teams.
  • Ability to work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
  • Ability to leverage CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
  • Serverless platform experience is a must.
  • Ability to work with Docker containerized apps is a must.
  • Experience with people management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies is a plus.
  • Good written and spoken English communication.
