About the Team 

The Global sales & revenue analytics team is responsible to upscale the org towards data driven strategic decision making by adding the intelligence layer on top of InMobi’s robust and complex data - to unlock the revenue potential through analytics, storytelling, and go-to-market strategy. This intelligence layer will be consumed towards realizing efficiencies, unlocking productivity, assessing the health of each of our global revenue units. 

Lead - Revenue Strategy 

Overview of the role -  
Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Strategy & Operations - InMobi Exchange, you will play a pivotal role in driving and optimizing end-to-end revenue strategy for the InMobi Exchange business unit. As a senior team member, you will collaborate across sales, marketing, customer success, product, and finance to ensure alignment on metrics, workflows, and AI-driven tools that fuel sustainable revenue growth. This role demands strategic thinking, process leadership, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams toward common goals. 

Responsibilities 

Revenue Strategy & Process Ownership 

  • Design & Implement Scalable Processes: Architect and refine processes for sales, marketing, and customer success teams to accelerate revenue growth and customer satisfaction. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks across the revenue cycle; propose and execute improvements leveraging AI-driven analytics. 
  • Technology Leadership: Evaluate and champion the use of new and existing tools, partnering with product and IT teams to enhance the customer journey. 

Revenue Analytics & Reporting 

  • KPI Management: Own the tracking, analysis, and dissemination of key performance metrics (pipeline health, revenue targets, churn, expansion rates) to stakeholders. 
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights using CRM, financial, and BI systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for decision-making. 
  • AI/Data Initiatives: Spearhead projects incorporating AI-powered forecasting and predictive analytics; translate these insights into operational strategies. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Strategic Alignment: Serve as a liaison among sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring seamless handoffs and consistent data flow. 
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives and workshops that align business objectives, implementing pipeline and deal management best practices. 
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Provide thought leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvement. 

Revenue Forecasting & Planning 

  • Forecast Ownership: Partner with leadership to build, refine, and maintain revenue forecasts and scenario models that guide strategic decision-making. 
  • Planning Cycles: Lead quarterly and annual revenue planning exercises, setting targets in collaboration with finance and functional heads. 
  • AI/ML Tools: Champion the integration and optimization of AI/ML-driven forecasting tools, educating stakeholders on their capabilities and limitations. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is a plus. 
  • Experience:  
  • 4–6+ years of progressive responsibility in revenue strategy & operations, business strategy, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of process improvement, revenue optimization, or cross-functional program leadership. 

Technical Proficiency:  

  • Deep familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and BI tools (Excel, Tableau, Looker). 
  • Hands-on experience with AI or ML tools for forecasting, data integrity, and analytics is strongly preferred. 

Skills 

  • Strategic Thinking: Able to connect the dots between data insights, operational processes, and broader revenue goals. 
  • Leadership & Influence: Experience guiding cross-functional teams, driving consensus, and mentoring junior talent. 
  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced data analysis skills; capable of turning complex data sets into actionable insights. 
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders effectively. 
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written skills, with a track record of building relationships and facilitating collaboration. 
  • Innovative Mindset: Comfortable experimenting with new technologies (particularly AI-driven solutions) to continuously enhance revenue processes.

As the Lead – Revenue Strategy, you will have significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, positioning you for greater leadership opportunities within the Revenue Strategy organization. Your influence in shaping process innovations and AI initiatives will be critical to driving the next phase of the company’s growth.
