Senior Testing Engineer (Automation)
Job brief
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with experience in testing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for testing webstack applications while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data.
- Carry out testing as per the defined procedures.
- Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
- Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out.
- Generate traceability matrices all the way from user stories or business requirements to automated testcases.
Technical Skills:
- Must have 5+ Years of experience in application testing and testing methodologies with primary focus in Automation testing.
- Experience with one of the Low Code / No Code tools like AccelQ.
- Good experience in Automation tools based on Selenium, Cypress.
- Test, build and configure test cases to meet business process and application requirements by Automation testing.
- Proficiency in C# or any other Object-Oriented Language.
- Understanding of the Testing/QA concepts i.e. test cases, defects, requirement traceability matrix.
- Good knowledge of .NET, C# with rest client /API / Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience of WebServices, Microservices (RESTful, SOAP), Angular Web UI Testing
- Good knowledge in Backend Databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Define, develop, maintain, report and execute manual / automation tests for basic, regression, load & performance related.
- Familiarity with various tools - JIRA, python, TestNG, Test Rail
- Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of BDD, Gherkin will be added advantage.
Mandatory skills:
- Good coding skills.
- Excellent computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional testing skills. Provide good attention to details.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
