POSITION SUMMARY
Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Lead Programmer Analyst, JD Edwards World A7.3 Distribution and Financial Modules. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze new requirements
- Work on new enhancements/Projects
- Coordinate and allocate tasks to team members
- Mentor junior team members with application specific knowledge
- Provide production support on need basis
- Co-ordinate with other team members for development support and change management.
- Interact with QA team for defect tracking and resolution
- Interface with other touchpoint teams for new projects & issue resolution
- Manage periodic status meetings with business owners
- Work on all aspects of service management in scope
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs additional duties as directed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Knowledge of EDI Concepts, 6-8 Years JDE experience
- Strong Knowledge of JD Edwards World A7.3 Distribution and Financial Modules, specifically in the areas of Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, and Inventory Management
- Proven experience relative to developing and/or managing JDE related projects.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle
- Experience working on ITIL processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of AS400 operating system and navigation
- Experience with Dream Writer and World Writer
- Understanding of JDE World security
- Strong knowledge of RPG/400 programming language
- Understanding of AS400 SQL queries
- Understanding of AS400 CLs (command language)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
