As a leader within the People Program Team, you will be responsible for leading a Program Portfolio for Atlassian's Talent, DEI and Employment Relations. You will partner with key stakeholders across CoE, HRBP, Program Management and Engineering teams to deliver scalable and intelligent solutions that amplify our impact on Atlassian's most important asset-its people.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of program managers to deliver complex large scale projects independently across different People functions including Talent, ER, and DEI
- Partner with key Program stakeholders to define program scope, roadmap, success criteria, roles & responsibilities, governance and change management.
- Build relationships with and influence cross-functional partners and stakeholders across the People Team, People Technology, and People Insights in order to deliver our roadmap and programs of work
- Proactively manage program progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, reporting and outcomes
- Work with program stakeholders and enablement teams to achieve program milestones while managing dependencies, communications and downstream impacts
- Drive programs to deliver organizational efficiencies by building scalable solutions that leverage automation and AI capabilities
- 10+ years program management experience with at least 5 years of extensive experience in managing HR programs
- Experience leading teams to deliver large-scale transformations, including knowledge of stakeholder engagement and change management best practices
- Successful track record in building, implementing, and delivering key people programs and showing direct, positive linkages to the achievement of business strategy or OKRs
- Experience in project management and delivering high quality presentations, communications, and artifacts to a wide variety of stakeholder audiences
- High levels of resourcefulness, influence, organizational savviness, execution skills (strategy through implementation)
- Prior experience in using Jira & Confluence
- Agile / PMP Certification is highly desirable.
- Location in PST or Australia to facilitate time zone collaboration.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $198,500 - $264,600
Zone B: $178,600 - $238,100
Zone C: $164,700 - $219,600
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
