Lead Product Designer

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Product Designer to spearhead our design efforts and shape the future of our products. As the Lead Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving design strategy, leading a team of talented designers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product design team in defining and implementing design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Manage and mentor a team of product designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet both user experience and business objectives.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to understand product requirements, user insights, and technical constraints.
• Drive the creation of user personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure designs meet quality standards and align with project goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for user-centered design principles and champion a user-centric mindset throughout the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership and impactful design work.
• Proven experience leading a design team, including hiring, mentoring, and managing designers.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., and proficiency in prototyping tools and user testing methodologies.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with a passion for creating intuitive and delightful user experiences.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
