The Role:
DailyPay is seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented self-starter to join our fast-growing Mission Control team as a Lead Mission Control Analyst. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our operational monitoring, ensuring seamless payment operations and system performance. You'll serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for operational processes, monitoring alerts, and handling escalations. You will play a key role in incident response, process improvement, and leading special projects that enhance our operational capabilities.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalations from Analysts and drive complex issues to resolution
  • Proactively monitor and analyze system alerts and dashboards to identify, investigate, and escalate operational anomalies to the appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with the Incident Response team to provide data and insights during investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Develop and optimize operational processes, including the creation and refinement of alerting mechanisms and run-books
  • Mentor and train Mission Control Analysts, fostering team growth and improving operational expertise
  • Lead special projects to enhance operational efficiency, alert accuracy, and system reliability
  • Maintain and update comprehensive process documentation, troubleshooting guides, and escalation procedures


What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in an operational, technical, or real-time monitoring environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute recurring tasks with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, escalate issues proactively, and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience liaising across departments to solve complex issues
  • Experience developing, refining, and maintaining detailed process documentation, troubleshooting guides, and run-books
  • Familiarity with operational monitoring tools, data analytics, and/or systems analysis, with a preference for experience in payroll or financial technology
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal business hours as operational needs arise
  • Leadership experience in training, mentoring, and providing guidance to team members, with the ability to lead a small team when necessary
  • Experience with Excel formulas

United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
