Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Gas Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor Package system

As Lead Engineer - Mechanical Design you will be responsible for design & development of Gas turbine & Centrifugal compressor auxiliaries/skid packaging that includes,
- Understanding customer specifications, deriving requirements for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries.
- Sizing and selection of various auxiliary equipment such as pumps /motors/ filters/ heat exchangers/strainers/valves.
- Piping design as per ASME B31.3 (pipe sizing , pressure drop calculation, material selection, reviewing piping stress analysis, piping support selection and piping layout design)
- Structural verification using FEA tools such as Ansys.
- Foundation loads calculation and skid lifting design.
- Leading project meetings, and travelling for Kick off / 3D model review meetings with global customers
- Collaborating with external engineering suppliers in the creation & review of basic engineering drawings and 3D models, with knowledge on GD&T.
Prime accountability will be on Quality, On-time delivery, cost & engineering productivity.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s / master’s in mechanical/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Static /Rotating equipment design
- Experience in skid packaging of Gas Turbine and/or centrifugal compressor,
- Strong experience in Piping domain
- Exposure to FEA Analysis software like Ansys.
- Exposure to API/ASME /NFPA codes.
- Exposure to 3D modeling/Detailing tools like UG NX, GD&T.
