You will report directly to the Manager, Human Resources. The Lead HR Coordinator provides onsite daily HR generalist support, ensuring high-quality HR service delivery and supporting the strategic objectives at the onsite Woodward Manufacturing Complex. 

 

What you'll do: 

  • Demonstrate safety leadership through active participation in EHS safety programs. 

  • Support the business by providing daily HR support with a continuous improvement perspective. 

  • Provide guidance and administration of HR policies, procedures and programs to client group(s), and programs to client group(s), raising any concerns and maintaining confidentiality that arises. 

  • Foster positive employee relations through interaction with employees, following up when issues are presented, and building trusting partnerships across the site. 

  • Liaise with corporate HR partners to resolve payroll, benefits administration, and HRIT issues. 

  • Support talent acquisition and onboarding processes for short and long-term workforce development strategies and talent requirements. 

  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to provide HR support for employees, manage performance evaluations, and implement workforce planning initiatives utilizing Workday. ,Maintain positive partnerships within the community, including non-profits, training organizations, and employment agencies, as well as industry committees. 

  • Perform other related tasks, as assigned, that follow job responsibilities or necessary department and corporate objectives. 

​REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field is preferred 

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources discipline 

  • Understanding of employee legislation, pay equity, and Occupational Health and Safety 

  • Experience with Workday is preferred  

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment & retention standards, employee relations, and current employment principles and practices. 

  • Proficient in MS Office software applications is a requirement.  

  • Experience with an HRIS systems is considered a plus
