We are looking for a talented Full Stack Lead Engineer to be focused in our Audience Planner initiative of the Alli platform.  

Alli’s Audience Planner is an innovative tool that integrates strategic insights with media targeting, leveraging AI to ensure precise and effective marketing campaigns. It combines traditional audience planning with advanced data utilization, providing unparalleled targeting accuracy across digital channels.

As a Fullstack Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and backend services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that leverage the latest in cloud technology, frontend frameworks, and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of fullstack applications using React, Node.js, and AWS.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for our adtech platform
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and performant APIs and microservices
  • Integrate Generative AI models and services to enhance ad targeting, personalization, and campaign optimization
  • Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of our applications by monitoring and optimizing performance
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their adoption where beneficial

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong focus on Node.js and REACT
  • Strong knowledge of backend development, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture using Node
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and frameworks (React)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Familiarity with integrating and deploying Generative AI models and services
  • Experience in building quality software including testing, code reviews, clean code, refactoring strategies, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of programming fundamentals – data structures, design patterns, algorithms, and paradigms

Preferred, but not required

  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in the adtech industry or with advertising technologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Experience with DDD, NoSQL, Python and Machine Learning
  • Experience with Grafana, Docker, AWS, GCP and can safely maneuver/setup configurations in those environments
