 Job Summary:
Aeris Communications is seeking a Lead Engineer with a solid background in software architecture and development of Full Stack Web & Frontend applications. Required skills include ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Java(Nice to have).
In this role, you will lead a small, fast-paced development team, collaborating with other developers, product management, and quality assurance. This is an excellent opportunity to impact the development of our market-leading IoT solutions significantly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Developer role in building Full Stack Web/Frontend applications, owning the application architecture and building world-class applications.

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Lead a team of 2-4 developers, providing technical expertise in feature design, assisting in task understanding, defining architecture, and conducting code reviews to maintain code and product quality.

- Ensure the software interfaces between web applications and backend meet product and software requirements.
- Define interfaces with cross-functional teams, ensuring a smooth, fast, and effective overall product experience for users.
- Ensure the software is released with the highest quality and on time.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for React frontend deployments on GCP.
- Conduct unit testing for Web /Frontend apps to ensure robust and high-quality code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- 5-10 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years of Web development experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science, data structures, and database concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
- Proven experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and AngularJS.
- Experience with cloud-based deployment such as GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Redux and browser-based debugging.
- Experience with proxy servers, role-based access control, authentication mechanisms(IDP), and frontend security policies.
- Familiarity with portal concepts, performance optimization, and frontend architecture patterns.
- Experience in consuming RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter, and self-managed.
Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in IoT or automotive industries is a plus.
• Previous experience working with geographically distributed teams.

- Basic knowledge of Java and related frameworks.
  - Experience with Spring Boot and other Java-based technologies for developing APIs.
 - Willingness to learn and adapt to Java tools and frameworks as needed.
