Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
This role will provide new professional growth and development opportunities and will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic vision and optimizing business processes. These roles involve leading key initiatives, developing and executing business plans, and ensuring organizational alignment across all functions. The ideal candidates will possess strong strategic planning skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capability to influence and drive results-based changes within the organization. The candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values open communication and teamwork.
What You'll Do

  • Champion the implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
  • Provide feedback on product concepts, portfolios, segment trends, and technologies.
  • Review standardized processes across sectors to gather best practices.
  • Address pain points and identify common vs. individual strategies.
  • Implement "Winning with Simplicity" across sectors to reduce complexities.
  • Ensure key roles (PSE, MRE) are performed consistently across sectors.
  • Collaborate with the EVOS safety team to further integrate and develop robust processes that prioritize operator, machinery, and customer safety inputs.
  • Collaborate with the GMAS audit team, driving closure to MAP and proactively carrying over learnings among sectors.
  • Identify improvements to better align processes with repair strategies, highlighting associated risks and integrating repair strategies earlier in the process.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Strong active listening skills that allow them to understand the speaker's message and respond in a way that shows comprehension.
  • Demonstrates conflict resolution to identify, understand, and resolve conflict in a positive and constructive way.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility to work across both internal groups and with external partners.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and business optimization.
  • Ability to lead and execute with ambiguity.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to process a broad array of inputs into a cohesive strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.
  • Ability to influence and drive changes within the organization.
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing processes and process improvement.
  • Experience in the automotive or OEM industry.
  • Strong project management skills.
