NorthBay is seeking a DevOps Lead (AWS Terraform Expert) proficient in DevOps practices to streamline infrastructure deployment and management. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining Terraform scripts for AWS environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, Dockers and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform on AWS platform to automate provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure efficient integration of Terraform configurations into the deployment process.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and templates to establish consistent infrastructure patterns and promote reusability across projects.
- Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure performance, cost, and security by implementing best practices and utilizing Terraform features such as state management and remote backends.
- Stay updated with emerging AWS and Terraform technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of infrastructure automation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Terraform, Dockers, cloud engineering, specifically with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
