As the Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the data engineering strategy for your domain. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions that empower the business with reliable and high-quality data. You will also guide and mentor the data engineering team, fostering best practices and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Define and drive key data engineering initiatives
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data pipelines and warehousing solutions
- Establish and enforce data governance practices
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders
- Lead the full lifecycle of data engineering projects
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies
- Monitor and optimize data system performance
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers
- Focus on building a robust data infrastructure
- Align data engineering strategies with organizational goals
- Lead and guide the data engineering team
- Make strategic decisions on data architecture and technology selection
- Communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on data initiatives and progress.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in data engineering
- 2-3 years of experience leading data engineering teams
- Ability to define a clear data engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data processing frameworks
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data security
- Ability to make informed decisions on data architecture and technology selection
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with databases, ETL/ELT tools, data processing frameworks, cloud platforms, and programming languages relevant to data engineering.
Compensation and Benefits:
- 2 rest days per week
- 13th Month Pay
