Job Description

As a subject matter expert in all things Digital Experience, you will design solutions that drive value for new & existing clients at various stages of the customer journey. From pre scales, scoping, workshopping and estimation, to requirements analysis, design and documentation, you’ll have the unique opportunity to identify, influence and impact key decisions that transform our client’s digital landscapes. As a Lead Consultant, you’ll be the bridge between our development & management teams with potential to craft your role as it evolves.

A day in the life:

  • Lead client engagements: You will be the main point of contact for clients, driving customer engagements and workshops to gather requirements, understand their challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Develop strategic solutions: Based on your insights and knowledge in the eCommerce ecosystem, such as complex order fulfilment, product and digital information management, omnichannel and more, you will craft comprehensive commerce strategies that address client pain points and align with their long-term objectives.

  • Design and document: You will translate strategy into actionable steps by writing detailed specifications, designing procedures, and creating clear functional documentation. 

  • Stay ahead of the curve: You will actively track industry trends, partner technologies, and best practices, ensuring your solutions are future-proof and competitive. 

  • Collaborate effectively: You will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to understand client requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional solutions, for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and seamless communication. 

  • Engage clients & deliver insights: You will run discovery calls, demos and workshops to identify gaps, recommend enhancements and define project scope.

Qualifications

  • Breadth of experience: You have a proven track record of success in various digital commerce roles, perhaps as a solution architect, technical architect or similar.

  • Enterprise experience: Experience in working on enterprise level, end-to-end eCommerce solutions with complex order fulfilment (preferably with OMS experience) omnichannel and marketplace implementations.

  • Subject matter expertise: You possess a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, its technologies, and best practices with some level of technical capability or experience. 

  • Consulting mindset: You are comfortable working with diverse clients, driving client relationships, uncovering opportunities and delivering impactful solutions. 

  • Communication mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re comfortable presenting and public speaking.

  • Experience in scope and design: Ability to scope and design projects, gathering requirements, and designing scalable and efficient solutions. You’re able to demonstrate a logical approach to a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and how these feed into the commercial elements of a Statement of Work as well as defining ROI and value to the customer. 

  • Team player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams. 

  • Adaptability and continuous learning: You love to stay ahead of the curve and expand your knowledge. 

  • Good data analysis and visualisation skills.
