In this role you:
- Analyze and identify of (standard) product groups and uncover opportunities within our supply chain. You identify potential areas for cost reduction and develop strategies to transfer operations to lower-cost countries.
- Establish, manage, develop and create awareness of market developments find new (abroad) suppliers fabricators and supply chains for standard components (C-Parts) in lower-cost countries. Ensure these supply chains are efficient, cost-effective, and align with Royal IHC’s overall strategic goals.
- Continuously seek and identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain organization. Facilitate the translation of these improvements from central to decentral departments to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact person for any changes in rules and regulations that impact Royal IHC. Effectively communicate and translate these changes to operational teams to ensure compliance and smooth operation.
- Will work closely with our international colleagues and suppliers.
- Evaluate optimize maintain and/or Set-up T&C’s for standard products (C-Parts) and services.
- Evaluate optimize maintain and/or Set-up (new) standard documents for Supply Level Agreements (SLA’s) and/or Framework contract templates/formats for standard components (C-Parts) and or services.
- Develop Integrate, implement work instructions and workflow(s)to enable work planners, buyers, Calculators/estimators, engineers part-catalogue, etc. to order C-parts directly.
You will work closely with:
- Category Managers: Partner to ensure that supply chain strategies align with category-specific requirements and goals.
- Procurement, Logistics Managers and Work planners: Collaborate to streamline procurement processes and logistics operations, enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
- Cost Estimators: Collaborate to see opportunities for our leads and to identify cost-saving measures and efficiencies within the supply chain.
- Department managers and all internal stake holders.
- IT dept to analyse and implement required IFS structures and processes.
- You will report to the head of Procurement within Royal IHC.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement. Experience in setting up and managing supply chains in lower-cost countries is a plus.
- A process mindset and experience in translating a way of working into processes supported by applications. Experience with IFS is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The flexibility to travel when needed
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Selection process:
After your application, a CV screening will take place first. If your profile aligns sufficiently, a brief telephone intake with the Corporate Recruiter will follow. You will then proceed with a selection process consisting of two interview rounds. After a positive second interview, we will schedule a discussion about the terms of employment. We aim to complete the entire selection process within five weeks.
