In this role you:
- Use data analytics to uncover opportunities within our supply chain. You identify potential areas for cost reduction and develop strategies to transfer operations to lower-cost countries.
- Establish and manage new supply chains in lower-cost countries. Ensure these supply chains are efficient, cost-effective, and align with Royal IHC’s overall strategic goals.
- Continuously seek and identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain organization. Facilitate the translation of these improvements from central to decentral departments to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact person for any changes in rules and regulations that impact Royal IHC. Effectively communicate and translate these changes to operational teams to ensure compliance and smooth operation.
- Will work closely with our international colleagues and suppliers
You will work closely with:
- Category Managers: Partner to ensure that supply chain strategies align with category-specific requirements and goals.
- Procurement and Logistics Managers: Collaborate to streamline procurement processes and logistics operations, enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
- Cost Estimators: Collaborate to see opportunities for our leads and to identify cost-saving measures and efficiencies within the supply chain.
- You will report to the head of Procurement within Royal IHC.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement. Experience in setting up and managing supply chains in lower-cost countries is a plus.
- A process mindset and experience in translating a way of working into processes supported by applications. Experience with IFS is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The flexibility to travel when needed
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
