Job Title: Lead Analyst - Accounts Receivable Data

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $94,490 to $118,113.
Job Summary
The position involves utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to monitor and optimize the company’s accounts receivable (A/R) process. This includes identifying trends, potential risks, and opportunities to improve cash flow by analyzing customer payment patterns, aging reports, terminations, payment arrangements, and other relevant data. Often, this is achieved through the development of dashboards and reports to inform strategic decision-making within the Credit & Collections Department.
Responsibilities:

Lead the reporting, calculation, and provide analytical support for Revenue Recovery metrics, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Uncollectible.

Acquire, scrub and structure data from multiple sources: SQL and non-SQL databases, structured and non-structured files.

Provide a comprehensive view of accounts receivables, so the business can implement best practices and identify potential gaps or delays in payment to proactively manage cash flow.

Identify, design, and maintain the necessary data models.

Utilize industry-proven models or develop new, customized models, algorithms, or computational methods to provide business insights tailored to business needs.

Perform ad-hoc exploratory statistical and data mining analyses.

Provide analyses of key Revenue Recovery processes and develop best practice recommendations by benchmarking industry trends

Respond to data requests and prepare statistical analysis reports for management as required.

Participate in the design and development of business processes based on analytical, data- driven findings.

Ability to interpret data within the context of business goals and financial implications and effectively communicate to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Research Methodology, Computer Science, Business or other analytical discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience with 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, education may be considered in lieu of experience.

Proficiency to analyze large volumes of data obtained from different data sources and platforms.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing and interfacing effectively with cross-functional internal groups of all levels and competencies.

Excellent presentation skills and ability to present analysis findings and recommendations in oral and written form to an executive level audience.

Strong desire to develop technical knowledge around Revenue Recovery operations.

Strong attention to detail and accountability for results.

Ability to work on projects in both a collaborative and independent work environment.
