Summary:
The Launch Analyst Program is a comprehensive initiative tailored to equip college graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel within the mortgage industry and introduce them to the complete financial side of the business. This program provides participants with opportunities for professional growth, including soft skills training, networking opportunities with exposure to industry leaders, as well as obtain a deep breadth of mortgage industry knowledge through completing rotations in various departments. The collaborative program is set to provide hands-on experience in departments that work in tandem with analysts, to better understand the loan process, the industry, and Freedom Mortgage as a company.

Internal Audit
Essential Job Functions:

Attending on-site training sessions focused on a wide range of topics including regulatory compliance, company and industry background, internal audit technical skills, professionalism, and communication.

Must pass the S.A.F.E licensing exam at the end of on-boarding to proceed to the next phase of the program.

Under supervision of an in-charge auditor, plan, perform and document process review and testing of effectiveness of controls in accordance with audit methodologies.

Critically analyze issues, form conclusions, and assist in the development of corrective action plans.

Support remediation follow-up and testing of management corrective action plans
-
Complete assignments on-time/on-budget with high quality.

Provide constructive input into the development of the annual Internal Audit assessment.

Collaborate with all levels of employees, including executive and senior level management to meet project deliverables.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University required.

Degrees in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics preferred

Internship in an internal audit or external public accounting firm a plus.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.

Demonstrated accomplishments using data analytics tools and techniques to solve problems.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to be within a commutable distance to the assigned location.
