You are an experienced Scientist or Informatician with a proven track record of leading cross-functional Biological Drug Discovery projects with a strong understanding of laboratory process and data collection principles. Main responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional projects to design and implement or enhance biologics-focused discovery operational processes, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closure, including stake-holder engagement, scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with computational scientists, bioinformaticians, and researchers to integrate and scale innovative platforms
  • Advocate for and implement Agile methodologies to optimize workflows and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Digital and Research to identify opportunities and ensure alignment with scientific and business objectives.
  • Bring a deep understanding of biologics data generation and help drive effective, operational management, ensuring compliance with standards and advancing best practices in data governance.
  • Bridge the gap between researchers and data analysts with deep understanding of biologics discovery process in a pharmaceutical industry, with special focus on the ability to interpret and translate experimental data for informatics strategies (e.g.AI/ML).
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new platforms, workflows, and digital tools across global teams, fostering user engagement and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize digital processes for enhanced efficiency and scalability, aligning with organizational digital strategies.

About you:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Biology, Informatics or a related field, experience working in biologics research within a pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in big data generation in a Biologics discovery context, analysis and storage management within a pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Knowledge in effective use of LIMS tools, such as Benchling and Genedata Biologics within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall and a willingness to learn and develop further in this area.
  • Excellent organizational and people leadership skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-drive, with a strong desire to drive projects from conception to successful completion – delivering value for end users.
  • Proactively identify project risks, devise effective mitigation strategies, and develop contingency plans to address potential variances in time, budget, and quality.
  • Drive the successful execution of project plans within agreed timelines and maintain up-to-date and accurate project status records in tracking tools, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ability to know when to escalate issues and risks to management and key stakeholders for resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing, strong tropism for teamwork.
