The Role:
The Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) Global Labor Time department is seeking a Program Foreman to become part of the team. This position is responsible for vehicle validation and time studies for published mechanical service procedures. It involves working closely with the Mechanical Service Information Development and Validation/Labor Time Technicians to ensure all service procedures are valid, optimized, and time studied. The position will also require individuals to create timing and analyze incidents per thousand vehicles to prioritize Technician workload.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with vehicle forecasting/ordering/scheduling
- Prioritize and work with peers to schedule technician workload
- Initiate change requests for service procedures and labor times
- Take ownership of vehicle program launch timing and quality of labor time guide
- Escalating concerns and optimizations within service procedures
- Create and document feedback to Mechanical Service Information Team
- Lead program check-in meetings and program deliverable timing
- Single point of contact for labor time related issues (Problem Tracking and Resolution)
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Strong automotive technical knowledge (e.g., ASE certification, dealership technician experience, automotive technology certificate, ASEP Program graduate)
- Two-year associate degree in automotive field or combination of equivalent training and relevant automotive experience
- Minimum of 1- 3 years of proven experience
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products
- Great Teammate, with excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- High Initiative
- Ability to analyze data. (See trends, use for decision making)
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a production-based environment with alignment to delivery schedule timing
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Automotive ASE/State Certifications
- Data Analytic Experience (e.g. Failure rates)
- Project Management Experience
- Knowledge using CAD visualization techniques
- Experience with Service Information Development or Service Integration
