We're on the hunt for a superstar Key Customer Manager to manage our Foodstuffs North Island account. You will be responsible for the implementation of the key strategies that set out to deliver sustainable, profitable growth for McCain across the New World and Pak N Save Banners via HO, In Store and Online accounts.
About the role

  • Implement an overall customer strategic plan in conjunction with the category and marketing teams that delivers our annual operating commitment on Volume, Net Sales and Gross Profit
  • Manage trade investment at or below AOC targets that optimise return on investment within agreed parameters across fixed (Trade Terms) and discretionary (Co-op and Customer Discounts) investment
  • Manage and optimise our portfolio to maximise profit and sales growth across all categories through both Foodstuffs North Island Head Office and in field working alongside the actual Stores - North Island
  • Working alongside FSSI to ensure McCain operating plan is executed at store which focuses on toward delivery of internal KPI's
  • Position McCain as a category partner of choice by collaborating with Category to develop and Marketing to leverage the insights, occasion-based growth drivers and market activation initiatives that maximise the effectiveness of the JBP
  • Is accountable for the total Foodstuffs North Island retail forecast while developing, contributing and participating in the monthly IBP drum beat by delivering timely communication on forecast, progression of R&O's and proactive management of the overall Foodstuffs P&L down to Gross Profit


About you

  • Experience in account management to achieve specific business results particularly within a FMCG business
  • Solid communication/presentation and leadership skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven track record with negotiation with key stakeholders - particularly at buyer level
  • Ability to utilise a broad range of business reporting tools e.g. Microsoft Office, EDW, SAP, IRI and Dunnhumby
  • Ability to analyse business to highlight key result areas to develop and execute improvement plans
