PURPOSE
As the Key Account Manager, you're tasked with achieving commercial objectives, with a focus on growing the brand portfolio within key clients such as Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall. Your goal is to maximize volume, turnover, and margin for the assigned portfolio (e.g. Absolut, Jameson, Chivas Regal, Malibu, The Glenlivet, Ballantine’s) by strategically aligning price, assortment, promotion, and visibility strategies.
Your Responsibilities
Commercial Activities

Prepare key account plans and develop strategic account visions based on consumer trends, customer objectives, and innovations to drive value and revenue growth.

Conduct annual negotiations with customers and close deals.

Inform customers about promotions and new product introductions.

Cultivate and maintain all necessary commercial contacts and accompany customers to sponsored events.
Customer Relations
-
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with assigned customers.

Identify and utilize appropriate strategies to motivate customers.

Proactively anticipate customer needs and developments using available information.

Uphold and enhance the image and reputation of PRN with customers.
Reporting
-
Maintain and manage commercial administration with assistance from sales support.

Prepare monthly progress reports and contribute to budget meetings during key account management consultations.

Gather and disseminate information about PRN, its products, markets, and competitors

Monitor sales development utilizing data to identify and address deviations in a timely manner.
Operational Management

Develop proposals, including budgetary follow-up, and advocate for them internally and externally, particularly with assigned customers/accounts.

Ensure timely confirmation and internal processing of agreements with customers to clarify follow-up points for all relevant departments.

Resolve commercial disputes with customers promptly and within reasonable timeframes.
Your Profile
-
You possess an academic background in a commercial field, ideally.
-
Your communication skills are proficient in both oral and written Dutch and English languages.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within the FMCG industry or beverage industry, you bring valuable expertise to the table.

Your strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, enable you to make decisions based on data.

You have a proven track record of negotiating independently and securing favorable results.

Your proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities to exceed organizational goals demonstrates your entrepreneurial spirit.

Your creativity is reflected in your ability to think innovatively, generate fresh ideas and challenge conventional perspectives.

You demonstrate your ownership mentality by not only taking responsibility within your assigned role, but also by extending responsibility across functions to improve the overall performance of PRN.
