The Role
As a Key Account Manager with Oribe in Sweden, you will drive sales performance through development of strategic partnerships with carefully identified salons, stylists, and key industry influencers by continually identifying opportunities to maximize profitable sales and distribution of products enhancing the profile and image of the Oribe portfolio.
You will be responsible for selecting, recruiting, and developing new customers to represent the renowned, luxury Oribe brand. Furthermore, you will collaborate with our salon clients to deliver merchandising expertise and Oribe product knowledge, to ensure an excellent costumer experience for both the salons and the end customers.
In this role, you will be able to have a direct impact upon the profitability of the business, and take pride in the continued growth and success of the brand in this market.
This role will be field-based in Sweden, involving travel to salons on a daily basis.
What you will do:
- Drive net sales development with customers in your area (30%)
- Execute local market sales strategy, new product launches and seasonal activities.
- Activate Joint Business Plans to deliver salon growth through increased sell through and deliver successful sales campaigns in line with strategy and guidelines.
- Partner with the wider local Kao Salon Division team to identify opportunities to convert existing current Oribe salons to take in additional Kao Salon Division brands and vice versa.
- Identify and convert new clients to Oribe (30%)
- Maintain and work to a focused prospect list of target customers to grow the Oribe business.
- Open new salons and achieve the distribution targets by directly influencing key clients to buy Oribe products by ensuring that clients understand how to maximize their profitability through client loyalty regular purchases.
- Deliver training to build stylist & salon staff capabilities (15%)
- Deliver in-salon training and partner with Oribe freelance educators to deliver more specialized training.
- Develop joint business plans (10%)
- Prepare contract of agreements as well as Joint Business Plans and agree sell through plans with clients on sell through activities.
- Accurately manage sales information and activities (5%)
- Ensure all sales performance data is analyzed and relevant action is taken and to communicate where necessary to the associate director, Salon, Sales, Oribe.
- Support the successful execution of Oribe promotions (5%)

- Act as an ambassador to maximize growth opportunities to promote image and reputation of Oribe at industry functions and events.

- Administration (5%)
- Ensure that the Sales Force system is updated correct.
- Ensure that the OKR process is followed, and that targets and measurements are completed in due time.
- Working with Workday and ensure correct recording of data.
- Comply with Company Policies and Procedures, as well as the Sales Handbook, the Personnel Handbook, etc.
What you will need:
- Ideally you will have studied business/sales management at college or diploma level
- Proven experience working in Sales Divisions, with a track record of identifiable successes in the the haircare / hair salon industry
- Experience managing key accounts and communicating business plans effectively to high profile customers (both written and verbally)
- Experience in training and developing clients’ sales performance
- Ideally you will have prior experience as a hairdresser, with strong technical knowledge of colorants, treatments, and haircare products
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook as well as sales tools and systems e.g. Sales Force
- Fluent in Swedish as well as English
