As a Key Account Manager Professional Lighting you’ll be responsible for creating and fostering long-term, strategic partnerships with major key accounts in the B2B segment (investors, end-users, designers, installers, partners, etc). Together with a team of great colleagues you curate custom offerings and develop new market opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll develop, maintain and improve relations with large key accounts in professional segments of the lighting business to maximize sales opportunities through innovative lighting solutions.
  • Operate in a complex ecosystem of end-user customers, partners, installers, contractors, and lighting designers for selling our portfolio of value propositions, segment-specific products, and related services.
  • Differentiate Signify systems & services offerings strategically and tactically by understanding the business drivers, and knowledge of the competition, and by applying the appropriate mix of technology, helping our customers to improve their own business.
  • Demonstrate an excellent financial understanding, understand the business drivers, and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Have direct accountability for Sales, Margin, Customer Profitability, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Ensure professional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your qualifications

  • Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Management, Economics, or related.
  • 3+ years of experience in a key account management role selling technical products and solutions in a B2B market.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, as well as understanding complex sales cycles and complex ecosystems.
  • Ability to pursue commercial opportunities with vigor and discipline to close deals despite challenges.
  • You are a team player: you bring the right team together leveraging respective areas of expertise.
  • You are autonomous but you collaborate also efficiently in the matrix organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills for both internal and external parties.
  • You deliver on commitments and communicate with impact.
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written).
