We are looking for a Key Account Manager, who will be responsible for the delivery of global sales and PC margin for assigned direct key accounts. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the key customers and their current /future requirements and translate this into tangible projects. You will successfully drive new business opportunities and define actions for their delivery (communicate through SFDC). You will collaborate closely with all organization functions (Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Regulatory and other support functions) to achieve targets. Additionally ensures a filled opportunity pipeline and brings projects from initiation to successful commercialization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing proposals and growth incentive plans
- Accountable for all assigned customers’ related R&D and commercial projects
- Builds relationship at all levels with the customers to ensure a regular information flow with all key collaborators
- Forecasts and demand planning for the assigned direct accounts
- Improve the profitability of sales through thorough implementation of selling prices, MOC, MOV and PC2. Optimization cash flow through management payment terms and over dues
- Develops on an ongoing basis, market intelligence required to gain competitive information as well as identify new applications for existing products in order to gain a competitive edge
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in: Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or Marketing
- Business fluent in English / Business beginner in Spanish
- Technical experience is a must in preservatives, etc.
- Min. 10+ years demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation and customer relationship
- Global management of complex large MNC’s
- Strong sales and business development skills
- Cross-functional leadership on key projects
- Leading Account Plan Development and Execution
- Large (2-10 Mn+) Account Leadership
- Travel: 30% -50% based on home base location with some international travel expected (10%)
