The Opportunity: This role is responsible for collaborating with team members in reviewing specifications and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions. Additionally, the role includes analyzing business requirements and implementing ServiceNow solutions in alignment with business stakeholders.

•Location: Sun Prairie, WI (One QBE Way)

•Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week  

•The salaried range for this role is between $72,500 and $108,500.

Your new role

• Gain hands-on experience and expertise by completing support tasks assigned my technical leads with focus on learning QBE core technologies. 
• Assist in gathering requirements, understand customer needs, address technical inquiries.
• Become an expert in supported solutions by learning functionality and business aspects.
• Contribute to analysis, design and development of customized solution based on skills and gathered knowledge.
• Provide assistance to customers during post deployment period, answer questions, provide clarification to business and technical teams.
• Assist in handling complex issues, work with team members in resolution or escalation in timely manner to assign with SLA. 
• Ensure customer impacts are assessed and addressed in the design and delivery of solutions and in day-to-day support.
• Perform product demonstration, build system diagram, user guides and provide necessary training on newly developed solutions and functionalities.
• Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with business stakeholders as well as team members.
• Assist to build and finalize documentation for business requirements and technical specifications, maintain documentation updates throughout development and testing as well as in post solution deployment period.
• Quickly learn and perform complex analytical and testing activities using variety of tools and learn to work in unaccustomed territories. Be open to change.
• BAU support for areas of acquired expertise. Become an expert, learn to improve and build new processes to make it effective and efficient.
• Assist development, QA and UAT cycles in any capacity it might require using learned skills and knowledge and within time schedule.
• Performing quality checks on implemented solutions to ensure they build according to specifications.
• Track activities and project’s established plans and timelines. Assist in setting up and lead meetings to get necessary artifacts and responses from participants and report on the progress.
• Actively acquire knowledge of QBE technology stack, industry best practices, and learn new product features.

Required Experience

• Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in relational database and SQL development.
• Experience in ServiceNow development.

Preferred Competencies/Experience/Knowledge:

•Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges

•Excellent attention to details

•Strong multitasking skills in fast pass environment

•Ability to learn quickly and adapt terminology

•Working in financial industries supporting data conversion

•Relational databases with focus on data mapping

•Solid understanding of software development life cycle processes

•Knowledge in creating and running basic SQL queries using relational databases. Oracle a +

•Accounting basics knowledge - General ledger journal financial processes a +.

•Working experience with data reconciliation using MS Excel.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance. We encourage all candidates to apply, even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range, as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
