Job Description
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for supporting the revenue accounting team in all aspects of revenue recognition and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting principles and excellent communication skills.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Prepare and review revenue recognition entries in accordance with IFRS standards
- Analyze sales contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to understand revenue drivers and improve efficiency of financial processes and procedures
- Maintain documentation of revenue recognition policies and procedures
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience in revenue accounting or related field
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
