The Senior Payroll Business Analyst role at Thermo Fisher. Offers an outstanding chance to create a significant impact within our Global Payroll Support Services team based in Budapest, Hungary. You will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing payroll processes, ensuring they are both efficient and compliant. Keys Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing payroll processes and systems.
- Use advanced Excel functions to develop and maintain payroll-related calculations and dashboards.
- Collaborate with teams to gather and record business requirements.
- Find opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes.
- Analyze data trends and ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations.
- Evaluate and incorporate system improvements and upgrades.
- Support system changes through testing, training, and communication.
- Provide training and support to payroll staff.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for payroll operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
Your Background:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payroll or HR/payroll-related projects.
- Experience in a multinational company with a diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of international payroll regulations.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience.
Your Skills should include:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Expert level experience in using payroll software and MS Office applications.
- Experience managing vendors for accurate and timely delivery.
- Ability to work independently and display autonomy.
- English proficiency
