Your mission

Pierre Fabre Laboratories is hiring aJunior Outsourcing Manager within the Clinical Platform for Operational Excellence and Execution Department.

The junior outsourcing manager is responsible for the implementation of the outsourcing strategy and its monitoring across the full spectrum of PF therapeutic areas (including oncology, dermatology, and rare disease) for PF sponsored post-marketing studies (Real world evidence data generation studies and Early Access / Managed Access Programs.

This includes the coordination of the below:

- Identification, assessment, and selection of service providers & contract research organization (CRO)

- CRO oversight, performance (e.g. KPI) monitoring, and contract maintenance throughout full study life cycle

The OSM will be responsible in establishing efficient outsourcing models with high level of interactive communication to set clear direction for the project teams and external suppliers within the clinical operations space to support the company strategy.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the clinical outsourcing process and work with the Project teams to deliver robust contracting agreements:

  • Coordinates scope of work discussion and preparation of Request For Proposal (RFP) in collaboration with procurement and the Project Teams across Departments for a study.
  • Participates in the selection of the vendor short-list, coordinates the vendors’ evaluation, drives bid defense meetings, insures robust proposal analysis on a technical point of view.
  • Coordinates the contracting activities (MSAs, Service agreements, Work orders, change orders, and amendments) with all relevant functional departments (e.g., Procurement, Legal, etc.).
  • Negotiation and maintenance of agreements, conducting in depth analysis of the CROs’ budget grids.
  • Establishing clear, consistent, and open collaboration between internal clients and service providers to ensure optimization and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ensure that governance structures in place are followed with the relevant selected CROs and successful functioning of governance bodies.
  • Manage CRO performance through establishment and monitoring of KPIs and application of associated incentives/penalties, where relevant.
  • Supervises the outsourcing processes and identifies solutions for the optimization of these processes in close cooperation with the different internal stakeholders.

This position is compatible with teleworking up to 2 days a week.

Les Laboratoires Pierre Fabre recrutent un Junior Outsourcing Manager au sein de la Plateforme Clinique pour l'Excellence Opérationnelle et le Département Exécution.

Le junior outsourcing manager est responsable de la mise en œuvre de la stratégie d'externalisation et de son suivi dans l'ensemble des domaines thérapeutiques de PF (y compris l'oncologie, la dermatologie et les maladies rares) pour les études post-commercialisation sponsorisées par PF (études de génération de données de preuves en situation réelle et programmes d'accès anticipé / Managed Access).

Il s'agit notamment de coordonner les éléments suivants :

- Identification, évaluation et sélection des prestataires de services et des organismes de recherche sous contrat (ORC)

- Supervision de l'ORC, suivi des performances (par exemple, KPI) et maintenance du contrat tout au long du cycle de vie de l'étude.

L'OSM sera chargé d'établir des modèles d'externalisation efficaces avec un niveau élevé de communication interactive pour définir une orientation claire pour les équipes de projet et les fournisseurs externes dans le domaine des opérations cliniques afin de soutenir la stratégie de l'entreprise.

Who you are ?

Advanced degree, Pharma D, PhD, Master’s degree or Degree in life sciences and industry-sponsored clinical trial experiences.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical trials environment. Experience managing subcontractors in the industry is a plus.

o Budget forecasting and budgeting skills (Financial analysis skills, budget management),

contract negotiation (MSA & evaluation of pricing models)

o Good knowledge of the clinical trial ecosystem and related service providers

o Ability to coordinate and lead trans-functional teams

o Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo

o Communicates positively, makes proposals to contribute to continuous improvement and collective success

English: General professional proficiency (written and verbal)
