A vacancy for a Systems Engineer has arisen within Engineering Department. We develop and maintain mission support and planning systems for different Military Aircraft platforms at the Airbus-site in Getafe. Our mission support systems enable operation, evaluation and development of military aircraft, especially in the context of mission planning.
About the job:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Carry out all system engineering tasks throughout the life cycle of our development projects, which includes system concept definition, system design, requirements engineering, system test & qualification.
- Be responsible for the scope and quality of the assigned tasks considering all aspects like feasibility, reusability, system optimization, maintainability, safety, technical performance, interface design, risks and opportunities.
- Take part in test definition and execution.
- Ensure transfer of contracted capabilities and customer requirements into system and product requirements, focusing on customer satisfaction and full compliance with rules and regulations.
- Support to and participate in Customer meetings and workshops.
- Provide In Service Support to our systems deployed in military bases, answering technical queries and planning updates.
About you:
The successful applicant will bring:
- University degree in a technical domain, e.g., aeronautics, computer science, telecommunications engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in system or software development, with deep knowledge of methods and tools preferable
- Experience in working with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo) and DOORS preferable
- Mission planning systems, mission systems experience is an advantage.
- English negotiation level required.
- Spanish negotiation level is a strong advantage.
- Team player, good communication skills and proactive mindset.
