🌍 Lucca is getting global! For this job, the required level in English and French is C1 (reading, writing, listening, speaking)

Context

Our company, Lucca, develops SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement.

We address the main administrative and HR management areas: time and activities, annual reviews, employee pulse surveys, expense reports, etc.

Our solutions are now used by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, Michel&Augustin). While we operate in the very serious field of management tools, our work is guided by the belief that management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That is why we attach great importance to the design of our interfaces and the user experience.

In 2022, Lucca celebrated its 20th anniversary and embarked on its internationalization journey by establishing its first three subsidiaries outside of France, in Barcelona, Geneva and Munich.

2022 is also the year when we started to professionalize our Localization approach (first hire, TMS implementation, etc.) and we now want to grow the team to consolidate our internationalization.

Our software interfaces are currently available in more than 7 languages (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese) and our Sales and Customer Success teams support our clients in 4 of them.

As the number of clients operating in various countries increases, we want to offer them the best user experience, and this means improving the availability and quality of translations for both software and documentation.

Your mission

With the aim of progressively improving language availability and quality, we are seeking an intern to join our Localization expertise within the International Cooperation team.

On a daily basis, you will work closely with Clara, Emilie and Frédéric who joined Lucca to help better address our new markets by localizing our products and services, progressively improving the user experience.

Here are more details about your main missions.

- Prepare and send relevant instructions to vendors, answer questions to facilitate project deliveries

- Ensure QA before delivery and feedback to vendors

- Monitor progress and statuses

- Contribute to maintaining tools (glossary, TM, TMS…) and terminology consistency

Contributing to process improvements

Contribute to the gradual improvement of our L10N systems by analyzing main issues, sharing ideas and suggestions with the team

- Identify where you are able to make small adjustments to improve the production workflow

- Contribute to the optimization of our language guidelines
