ABOUT THE TEAM

The Legal Team is more than just a legal team: it's a part of business design and an overall representitive of the company at large. The team provides support in line with corporate law, contracts, labor, competition, transportation and regulatory requirements to meet the day-to-day needs of other teams. 

We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with national and international legal frameworks.
• Monitor daily legal and regulatory changes and provide timely updates. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to proactively address legal issues.
• Coordinating with external lawyers and legal advisors for collaboration to gather legal points of view. 
• Contribute in a fast, dynamic and team-orientated manner. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, result and solution oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

Your Profile

• Law degree in Azerbaijan
• 2-3 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, preferably with in-house or e-commerce experience. 
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, Turkish, and English is required.
• Provide legal advice and support on: E-commerce law, Consumer law, Intellectual property (IP) law, Trademark law, Customs law, Data protection regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate: Agreements related to daily transactions and operations, Policies and related legal documents.
• Follow up on legal processes and manage documentation effectively.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.

We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.

The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
