Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Planner
Reports To: Planning Manager
Department: Planning
Summary: Print, organize and distribute finished goods labels to support customer orders. Receive purchase orders from customers, enter them into the company ERP system, and generate work orders that will fill the required demand. Manage a small planning portfolio and work closely with Planning, Production, Customer Service, and Distribution to ensure priorities are well understood and deliverables are provided with a high level of accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Input information into product label system and generate labels for finished goods. Conduct verifications for accuracy.
Receive purchase orders from customers and generate work orders to fill all available demand.
Manage asset capacity and create effective production schedules for blending and compounding.
Manage the master production schedule for a small portfolio of products.
Establish working relationships with other Vigon departments to ensure work orders ship on time every day.
Troubleshoot production issues and work with customer service to minimize lead time for our customers.
Manage Inventory Requirements and ensure that the Inventory Requirements Queue remains empty.
Provide work priorities for production and QC and work with those teams to ensure that critical orders are delivered on time.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience or an associate degree in a related field with 2-4 years’ experience preferred.
Language Ability:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at different organizational levels. Ability to act in a customer facing role and interact with all departments within the business. Ability to read, analyze and interpret data sets and instructions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, inventory/database software, and the internet. Necessary skills include; contact management systems, database software, spreadsheet and word processing software
