We’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist to support our data operations by handling large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality, and running algorithms to match external data with our proprietary datasets. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, eager to work with real-world data, and looking to grow into a more analytical position over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and clean data received from clients to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in developing new algorithms.
- Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or gaps, working with internal teams and clients to resolve issues.
- Support data validation and quality assurance processes to improve the reliability of our datasets.
- Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists, engineers, and Product teams to enhance our data pipelines and algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar).
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, data processing, or related fields
- Experience with data visualization (e.g., Databricks Tableau, Seaborn) and data cleaning & processing (e.g., Pandas, SQL).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data tools (e.g., PySpark) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of data-related tasks.
