monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Junior Accountant to join our expanding global Finance department!
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and month-end process. In this role you will report to our US Controller. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast paced environment and has high attention to detail.
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.
About The Role:
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close
- Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
- Assist with customer invoicing, receipt and collection recording and mobile deposits.
- Manage Accounts Payable process including but not limited to vendor onboarding, bill entry, vendor payments, preparing payment reports, ensuring there are proper POs for all bills and liaising with vendor as necessary.
- Monitor corporate credit cards and own creating new virtual card for special events or new employees.
- Assist with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience, Public Company/SaaS experience is a plus
- Conversational knowledge of Portuguese a plus
- Prior experience with NetSuite
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Highly detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $65,000 - $80,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations
