Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive sales opportunities in the cybersecurity market. This role is ideal for a self-starter looking to build a career in technology sales. The BDR will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing leads to generate sales pipeline opportunities for our security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Research target accounts to understand their cybersecurity needs and pain points.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and lead generation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities in CRM software.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and VerSprite’s solutions to effectively communicate value to prospects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably in B2B tech or cybersecurity).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research on target accounts and personalize outreach.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts is a plus but not required.
