Job Description
We expect to trade for coming years other than citrus juices globally, becoming even more relevant as global player on those new products. With such role request we aim to keep on increasing our presence and network doubling our trading volume shortly. Additionally, this position will be in charge of overseeing the trade of Apple & Tropical Juices from end to end and bring to the Marketing & Sales team opportunities in all origins (plus market info / SnD for best decisions), as today we are too centered in China/Poland while South America, Ukraine, Turkey, Africa partially covered for apple and not connected with tropical players.
Revenues of above 100MM USD with wealthy margins on the trades
- Develop further apple contact and opportunities on the sell and buy side. For apple specially in Turkey / Ukraine / Africa and South America). For tropicals: Central America and Asia.
- Control each purchase and sale from start until receiving/deliver the goods and cash is concluded.
- Report PnL and support FP&A for the right accounting of it
- Risk and opportunities (market research in order to develop trading strategies and support sales activity)
- Be present on events and visits of clients engaging partnership with LDC
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a regional or global trading/merchant position
- Strong Communication Skills and a strong client-focused mindset.
- Must be available to travel as needed. This role requires travel, depending on the location of active projects, client prospects, conferences, networking events, and office visits.
- Execution and International logistics knowledge
- SAP user/interaction would be considered a strong plus
- Other languages than English, would be a plus
