About the Position
We have a great opportunity available for an ambitious Financial Administrator to join our Benelux Trade Investment team! In this role, you report to our Trade Investment Lead and will be responsible for financial control around sales agreements and contracts with our clients. Furthermore, you collaborate with and work as a business partner for our sales team. This role is a temporary position of 5 months, starting January 2025, with a chance of extension.
In brief, you will be taking ownership of:

  • Ensuring all invoice prices are accurate. You'll verify that the prices agreed upon by the Sales team are correctly reflected on our invoices, and you'll manage the approval process, price controls, and procedures.
  • Resolving price discrepancies by analyzing the reasons behind any differences and addressing them.
  • Managing retrospective investments by accurately recording customer investments in our system and checking that provisions for pending invoices align with our contracts.
  • Reviewing and processing customer invoices, ensuring they are linked to the correct accounts, verified for accuracy, and paid on time.
  • Collaborating with the accounts receivable (AR) team to resolve any issues preventing customers from paying their invoices.
  • Analyzing and providing insights on the investments made for our customers.


Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics / Finance / Data Science or related
  • Some experience in the field of finance, preferably in an international and dynamic environment
  • Comfortable to quickly learn different systems (such as SAP) and handy in Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Great communication skills: You can convey complex financial issues in a simple way to non-financial colleagues
  • High degree of accuracy and eye for detail: You learn from mistakes and come up with smart solutions to prevent them in the future
