Reporting to the Product Manager & Business Systems Analyst, the Jr. Business Analyst role will serve as a vital part of the Wyse IT team. The primary function of this role is to support business requirements gathering, process analysis, and the implementation of technology solutions that align with organizational goals. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring business needs are clearly translated into actionable technical requirements, while delivering value-added solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business processes and requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise technical requirements for IT development teams.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Conduct gap analyses between current and desired states of processes and systems.
- Work with stakeholders to create user stories, wireframes, and workflows.
- Monitor and track project deliverables, timelines, and milestones, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support the creation of training materials and assist in user training sessions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
- Assist in the preparation of business case documents and project proposals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as process flow diagramming (e.g., Visio), requirements documentation, and use case modeling.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence is an asset.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
