This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis.The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Engineer to join our elite team. GM Motorsports supports NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA and just recently added a 2026 grid spot for Formula 1! Proficiency in 3DX or CATIA is required, and imperative that you can perform finite element analysis (FEA) on parts designed for validation and convert surfaces into parts. A comprehensive understanding of composite materials, alloys, and part design will be beneficial. Moreover, proficiency in managing solids, surfaces, complex assemblies, and technical drawings is crucial for success in this position.In the dynamic field of Motorsports, the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members is paramount. This role requires a candidate who can think analytically and maintain a client-focused approach while navigating a fast-paced work environment. Strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to foster excellent relationships are essential.
